From Flips To Pixels
Born and raised in Abbotsford, B.C., Elijah’s early life was far from typical. He spent years as a national-level gymnast before transitioning into coaching for seven years.
This athletic background laid the foundation for his disciplined approach to future endeavors.
In a significant career pivot, Elijah graduated from Vancouver Film School’s Game Design program in April 2019.
After working as a junior IT Technician at Stratum Systems for over two years, he joined Linus Media Group in February 2023 as a Logistics Coordinator.
His talent and dedication saw him quickly rise to the position of Jr. Writer by October 2023, where he continues to contribute to LMG’s content creation.
Elijah And Taylor’s Story
While Elijah’s professional life was taking off, his personal life also blossomed.
He began dating Taylor Jean Horner in June 2020. Their relationship progressed swiftly, and the couple announced their engagement on January 2, 2021.
Elijah shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Saying goodbye to 2020 and starting 2021 off right! IM ENGAGED! #engaged #2021”
The couple tied the knot in August 2021, marking the beginning of their life together. Taylor, a Columbia Bible College alumna, has been a dedicated partner in Elijah’s journey.

Elijah and Taylor’s commitment to each other extends beyond their marriage.
In June 2022, they achieved a significant milestone by purchasing their first home.
Elijah shared his thoughts on homeownership, saying,
“Owning a home is a pretty weird feeling that most people can’t put into words. I can, overpriced, no subjects, screw investors and age limits. Either way @morethan_a_prettyface and I managed to get it done.”
On their wedding anniversary, Elijah penned a heartfelt message to Taylor, reaffirming his love and commitment:
“You are the best wife and the best bestfriend I could ever ask for. I can’t promise every day will be the best day ever, I can’t promise there won’t be difficult times, but I can promise to be with you ever single day and every step of the way, because I love you, more than you can ever know.”
