Kim Kardashian’s trainer reveals the secret behind her weight loss


Whether you like it or not, you can’t deny being amazed when Kim Kardashian walked the red carpet at the Met Gala wearing Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress. Soon after Kim made the appearance, reports emerged on how she lost weight in order to fit into the dress. While many hailed her for being so determined, many criticized her for pushing herself to extremes for the transformation and flagged it unhealthy.

As per reports, Kim has loaned the outfit from Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum.

There is an amazing history behind the dress which is why it is still being discussed even days after Kim wore it. In 1962, Marilyn Monroe wore this gown and sang “Happy Birthday” to the then President of the United States, John F Kennedy.

Kim is said to have lost 16 pounds within 3 weeks to slip into the dress.

While Kim herself admitted to being on a no-carb and no-sugar diet for the event and the dress, her fitness trainer has revealed something more about her weight loss journey.

In response to media queries on if losing so much weight within a short span of time is unhealthy, her trainer has refuted and has said that she was working out twice a day and was on a balanced diet.

It was not like she was starving herself to lose weight, says the trainer. “So I mean I was there through the process, so it wasn’t like a starving yourself type of thing. I mean she went on a real balanced diet and at times, you know, she wouldn’t eat as much. But then the second thing was she was in the gym and put the work in,” her trainer told the media.

Kim is famous for her experimental manners.

After the birth of her second child she put herself through the Atkins diet and lost about 70 pounds. The Atkins diet is a low carb diet which was brought into practice by cardiologist Robert C Atkins.

For the 2018 Met Gala she had lost 7 pounds in 2 weeks.
