Rising Israeli pop star Noga Erez has exciting news for her fans—she is pregnant and expecting her first child in January 2025.
The singer, known for her dynamic, hip-hop-infused sound, revealed the happy news in a recent interview.
“Yes, I’m pregnant and about to have a baby in January,” Erez shared.
“So we will do some small tours until I can’t fly anymore, then the next live things will probably be next summer. Until then we’ll be with our little girl. Our tiny girl Vandalist!”
Meet Noga Erez Partner
Erez’s partner and longtime musical collaborator, Ori Rousso, is the child’s father.
The two have worked closely together, with Rousso serving as the beat-maker and producer for Erez’s projects.
“Ori is the beat-maker and the producer of the project,” Erez explained.
“It’s a collaborative process where we’re both working on the arrangement and production of the songs. Ori has his hands on the wheel when it comes to the sound design and the direction of the production.”
The couple’s creative partnership has helped shape Erez’s unique sound, which blends elements of pop, hip-hop, and electronica. Their artistic collaboration is a source of pride, with Erez and Rousso considering themselves “outsiders” in the Tel Aviv music scene.
“We really love the music here in Tel Aviv,” said Rousso,” but Noga and I have always been outsiders. We’re not really in a scene. It’s very much just us.”
Erez’s pregnancy comes at an exciting time for her career. In September 2024, she is set to release her major-label debut album, “The Vandalist,” through Neon Gold/Atlantic Records.
The album follows her well-received previous releases, 2017’s “Off the Radar” and 2021’s “Kids.”
“If the satire-rich, catchy, attitude-packed record establishes her as a unique and powerful voice in alt-pop today, it will have done exactly what it should do,” the album’s description reads.
With a new baby on the way and her star continuing to rise, Noga Erez is embracing this exciting chapter in her life and career.
